The IBM SurePOS500 comes with infrared touch technology that has no moving parts or overlays (such as resistive technology) and is highly resistive to dirt, dust and moisture. Because of the infrared technology no recalibrations are required, other than initial setup (as is not the case with capacitive and resistive touch technologies that may require recalibration more frequently)
The IBM SurePOS500 is widely used in the Retail industry and 6-7 years of use is not unusual. Great value for money! The IBM SurePOS500 is also used extensively with RetailTouch software in other Retail markets and works without issue with the software.
The SurePOS500 is supplied with a 12 months on-site manufacturer Warranty and we can include an option to upgrade that Warranty to three (3) years.
